They stay during Mid-Summer eve when all of the creatures come for a party. The creatures are able to understand themselves, and even to trick Kendra and Seth. Seth thought he saw a baby on the roof with a warewolf almost to eat it. He quickly opened the window, grabbed the baby, and it suddenly turned into a troll. The warewolves got into the house, too, and turned in to a serpent and a goblin. The assistant caretaker, Dale, comes in the house and lures the troll and serpents downstairs. A involvement breaks out, and they take Kendra and Seths Grandpa and Lena, the maid.
